yeah im kinda starting to get back into writing their story. ive been legitimately so bored lately, so fleshing out the stories makes me feel a bit more entertained and gives me hope about actually making a webcomic someday. not that i have the motivation to right now, but im getting there. just need to keep myself from going insane

Another Winter Aconite comic segment.

Sorbette faces the effects of her actions through the face of the one who brought so much light into her life in her darkest moments. When Skerret refused to participate in Sorbette's search for revenge of the death of her mother, she decided to take Raño with her instead. When Sorbette encountered the clan responsible for her mother's death, she attacked them without proper planning, dragging Raño into the action with her. Safe to say, they should have planned the attack out a bit more.

Content Warning: There is blood again.

Raño is due to make a full recovery, but mentally, he will never be the same.

i have to finalize things because i, myself, am confused by what Sorbette's designs are.

Phase 1 refers to Sorbette's design for when she was living a regular life before anything tragic happened to her. She wears a fancy(?) purple coat to beat the cold winter weather up in the mountains. Being the daughter of the village chief, her clothing was made with care and comfort in mind.

The "Transition" Phase refers to immediately after she lost her village and mother. It's not Phase 2 because this design only lasts for a day or two. It's the result of her clothes getting discarded or ripped during her escape from the mountains into the forest. She does get the skull mask in this phase but I decided to leave it out until Phase 2.

Phase 2 is when Sorbette is finally accepted into Raño and Skerret's group. Raño made her a new coat and fixed her pants so she could feel included, and it ended up being a size too large, but she still loved it.

ANOTHER SEGMENT OF THE SORBETTE STORY

this isnt part two. its just a segment later on in the story that i chose to draw, which is Sorbette's first time meeting the Crimson Collars, Raño and Skerret.

Again, feel free to give criticisms where it's needed. or ask. id be happy if u did :) also there's no blood here, so anyone can read, i guess.

skerret and raño arent officially called the Crimson Collars yet. its why Skerret isnt wearing the iconic "collar" thingy. the idea of naming and making a group comes maybe a chapter or two after this.
